Despite this, at the end of the same century, a movement of grammar production began, which shows a certain concern with language teaching, since, in general, language teaching in schools is based on the knowledge left as a legacy by grammatical tradition. The objective of this work is to understand this movement of grammar production by linguists and what implications it has for teaching Portuguese in school. This work is part of a subproject, entitled “Analysis of grammars written by Brazilian linguists”, linked to the project “Language, grammar, variation and teaching”, developed since 2017 by the Linguistics Study Group of Western Pará – Gelopa. This subproject has four guiding questions: what is grammar?; what is teaching grammar?; why teach grammar?; and how to teach grammar?. This research aimed to answer these questions, starting from the analysis of the concept of grammar and grammar teaching that emerges from the work “A Gramática do Português Revelada em Textos” (GPRT), by Brazilian linguist Maria Helena de Moura Neves, published in 2018. This bibliographic research started, firstly, from four works by this author (NEVES, 2002; 2012; 2013; 2014), in order to verify the convergence or not of the author between her works and her grammatical production, besides serving as a support for the analysis of GPRT. Thus, according to the GPRT, grammar is an adaptable system and sensitive to the pressures of use, therefore adjustable; and to teach grammar is to look at the language and its interrelations in a reflexive way. For the author, grammar teaching that is not based on the reflection of language functions, is not a meaningful teaching for students. Grammar teaching must be related to showing how it organizes relationships, produces meanings and pragmatic effects within a context and, according to the author, grammar teaching should not be dissociated from language experiences, that is, to reflect on the language, one must take into account the context in which that text was produced. A Linguística, quando se constitui como ciência, no início do século XX, não tem seu foco de pesquisa voltado ao ensino. Apesar disso, no final deste mesmo século, inicia um movimento de produção de gramáticas, o que demonstra certa preocupação com o ensino de língua, uma vez que, de modo geral, o ensino de língua nas escolas toma por base o conhecimento deixado como legado pela tradição gramatical. O objetivo deste é entender este movimento de produção de gramáticas por linguistas e que implicações ele possui para o ensino de língua portuguesa na escola. Este trabalho está abrigado em um subprojeto, intitulado “Análise de gramáticas escritas por linguistas brasileiros”, vinculado ao projeto “Língua, gramática, variação e ensino”, desenvolvido desde 2017 pelo Grupo de Estudos Linguísticos do Oeste do Pará – Gelopa. Este subprojeto possui quatro perguntas norteadoras: Que é gramática?; Que é ensinar gramática?; Para que ensinar gramática?; e Como ensinar gramática?. Esta pesquisa visou a responder a essas perguntas, partindo da análise da concepção de gramática e de ensino de gramática que emerge da obra “A Gramática do Português revelada em textos” (GPRT), da linguista brasileira Maria Helena de Moura Neves, publicada em 2018. De caráter bibliográfico, esta pesquisa partiu, primeiramente, de quatro obras desta autora (NEVES, 2002; 2012; 2013; 2014), no intuito de verificar a convergência ou não da autora entre suas obras e sua produção gramatical, além de servirem de suporte à análise da GPRT. Assim, de acordo com a GPRT, gramática é um sistema adaptável e sensível às pressões do uso, por isso ajustáveis; e ensinar gramática é olhar a língua e as suas inter-relações de forma reflexiva. Para a autora, um ensino de gramática que não se paute na reflexão do funcionamento da língua não é um ensino significativo para o aluno. O ensino de gramática deve estar relacionado a mostrar como ela organiza as relações, produz as significações e os efeitos pragmáticos dentro de um contexto e, segundo a autora, o ensino de gramática não deve se dissociar das vivências de linguagem, isto é, para refletir sobre a língua, deve-se levar em conta o contexto em que se produziu aquele texto. 2022-04-04T13:38:14Z 2022-04-04T13:38:14Z 2021-03-25 Dissertation SILVA, Thaiza Oliveira da.
