The damage caused in this injury can be prevented through repositioning practices and the use of pressure reducing devices. As recorded in the literature, the market has absorbed several prophylactic devices. However, not all are in compliance with the guidelines that address this type of injury. Considering this problem, through three scientific bases (PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science) and a technological one (Questel Orbit), this study aimed to map prophylactic technologies in accordance with the International Guideline for prevention and treatment of pressure injury. This study included documents published between 2009 and 2021 and excluded those whose methodologies did not involve the use of prophylactic technologies. Through the scientific databases, 506 publications were found and of these were selected 45 studies whose methodologies involved products related to prophylactic dressings, seat cushions, mattress, electronic devices, heel suspension devices, topical products and bed linen. Regarding Questel Orbit, 328 patent records were found and of these were selected 29 patents whose descriptions referred to heel suspension devices, socks, mattress and prophylactic dressings. In terms of scientific production, the United States of America was the country with the highest number of selected studies, followed by Israel and Australia. With regard to the development of patented technologies, China has demonstrated absolute superiority with 23 technologies developed. Under the preventive context, Australia and China were the two countries with the best results. A lesÏo por pressÏo diz respeito a um dano que ocorre na pele e/ou no tecido subjacente em decorrência da pressÏo exercida pelas protuberÍncias ósseas ou por outros objetos sobre o tecido, e representa um problema de grandeza mundial. Os danos provocados nesta lesÏo podem ser prevenidos através de prËticas de reposicionamento e do uso de dispositivos redutores de pressÏo. Conforme registrado na literatura, o mercado tem absorvido diversos dispositivos profilËticos. Entretanto, nem todos estÏo em conformidade com as diretrizes que tratam deste tipo de lesÏo. Considerando tal problema, através de três bases científicas (PubMed, Scopus e Web of Science) e uma tecnológica (Questel Orbit), este estudo propôs-se a mapear as tecnologias profilËticas em conformidade com a Diretriz Internacional de PrevençÏo e Tratamento de LesÏo por PressÏo. Neste estudo foram incluídos os documentos publicados entre os anos de 2009 e 2021 e excluídos aqueles cujas metodologias nÏo envolvessem o uso de tecnologias preventivas. Através das bases científicas foram encontradas 506 publicações e destas foram selecionados 45 estudos cujas metodologias envolviam produtos relacionados a curativos profilËticos, almofadas de assento, colchÏo, dispositivos eletrônicos, dispositivos de suspensÏo do calcanhar, produtos tópicos e roupa de cama. No tocante ao Questel Orbit, foram encontrados 328 registros patentËrios e destes foram selecionadas 29 patentes cujas descrições referiam-se aos dispositivos de suspensÏo do calcanhar, meias, colchÏo e curativos profilËticos. Em termos de produçÏo científica, os Estados Unidos da América foram o país com o maior quantitativo de estudos selecionados, seguidos por Israel e AustrËlia. No que diz respeito ao desenvolvimento de tecnologias patenteadas, a China demonstrou superioridade absoluta com 23 tecnologias desenvolvidas.
