The main objective of this work is to identify how the cultural identity of the people from Amapá is presented within the lyrics of the songs of Marabaixo. Throughout this work, conceptions of Language and cultural identity were approached so that it could be understood how the African descendant culture took its roots in the state of Amapá, using, as main authors of this theoretical background, Pêcheux (1995); Foucault (2005); Mazière (2007); Videira (2009); Martins (2016); Orlandi (2016), Mattelart (2004); Antunes (2009); Carboni e Maestri (2012), among others. The corpus of analysis consists of three song lyrics of Marabaixo as follows:”Aonde tu vais rapaz”, “Eu acordei de madrugada” and “Guardariô”. Thus, after the analyses, the remarkable aspects that characterize this culture can be understood, for they go through the struggles and the resistance of their culture, due to the influence of the colonization and the religious aspects present within the "ladrões" of Marabaixo. O presente artigo tem como objetivo principal identificar como a identidade cultural do povo afroamapaense4 se apresenta dentro dos ladrões do Marabaixo, usando como base metodológica a Análise do Discurso Francesa, difundida por Michel Pêcheux5, por volta de 1960, na França. No decorrer do trabalho, abordou-se concepções de Língua(gem) e identidade cultural, para assim entender como se enraizou a cultura afrodescendente dentro do Estado do Amapá, utilizando como principais autores deste embasamento teórico Pêcheux (1995); Foucault (2005); Mazière (2007); Videira (2009); Martins (2016); Orlandi (2016), Mattelart (2004); Antunes (2009); Carboni e Maestri (2012), entre outros. O corpus de análise consiste em três letras de canção do Marabaixo, sendo elas: Aonde tu vais rapaz, Eu acordei de madrugada e Guardariô.
