Characterized as an interdisciplinary research, this study makes a theoretical and a methodological intersection whose reference point is the approach of the Social Field concept coupled with the study the use of social gatherings and social interactions. Held in the city of Abaetetuba (located in the state of Pará in the north of Brazil), it was performed by collecting data on fieldwork through the use of interview techniques (non directive and directive), and direct observation with prior literature research. In its course, the study presents the identity and creative processes that characterize the associative life of Miriti artisans, the dynamics of associative life in Relations Field of Miriti Artisans of Abaetetuba and the description of the social occasions that occur in it. At the end, it concludes that the associative life of Miriti artisans develops itself by/from their families creative core and merges with a range of meanings and practices from social occasions into the public order, allowing them to keeping up and reproducing themselves through the Relations Field so that they recognize their own determinations more than the interventions and impositions by external agents responsible for marketing control and public policies in this social field. Without any deliberate calculations and despite outside attempts of controlling and mediation, the artisans from Abaetetuba still revitalize and contextualize their lifestyles own practices as well as their peculiar knowledge and know-how CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior Esta pesquisa analisa as relações sociais que ocorrem no processo criativo desenvolvido pelos artesãos que produzem os denominados Brinquedos de Miriti de Abaetetuba, referenciados como artesãos de miriti, e demonstra de que forma se organizam socialmente em torno de seu(s) processo(s) de criação e como constroem as estruturas de proximidade que conformam sua vida associativa. Caracterizado como uma pesquisa interdisciplinar, este estudo realiza uma intersecção teórico-metodológica cujo marco referencial é a abordagem do Campo Social, associada ao uso do estudo dos ajuntamentos e das interações sociais. Realizada no município de Abaetetuba (Pará), coletou dados em trabalhos de campo mediante o uso das técnicas de entrevista não diretiva, entrevista diretiva e observação direta, com prévia pesquisa bibliográfica. Em seu decorrer, o estudo apresenta os processos identitários e criativos que caracterizam a vida associativa dos artesãos de miriti, a dinâmica da vida associativa no Campo de Relações no Artesanato de Miriti de Abaetetuba, e a descrição das ocasiões sociais compósitas que nele ocorrem.
