To achieve this goal of qualitative research was bringing the voice of users collected through semi-structured interview, the method of analysis of this dissertation is oriented under the light of dialectical and historical materialism, which enabled a broad analysis of reality. Thus it was observed that despite the CRAS have potential to contribute significantly to improving the participation of women in public spaces, particularly the poorest, this potentiality is sterilized by the absence of emancipative content, which leads to the conclusion that genre is a category not yet worked on welfare policy, especially in the CRAS of Salinas. CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico Este trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar o enfoque de gênero nos serviços socioassistenciais oferecidos pelo Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (CRAS) do município de Salinópolis – PA, buscou-se identificar as possíveis contribuições desse serviço para as mulheres usuárias, uma vez que são elas as principais demandatárias dessa política. Para alcançar esse objetivo utilizou-se da pesquisa qualitativa trazendo a voz das usuárias captadas através da entrevista semiestruturada, o método de análise desta dos dados está orientado sob a luz do materialismo histórico e dialético, o qual possibilitou uma análise ampla da realidade. Desse modo observou-se que apesar do CRAS ter potencialidade para contribuir significativamente com a melhoria da participação das mulheres nos espaços públicos, principalmente as mais pobres, essa potencialidade é esterilizada pela ausência de conteúdos emancipatórios, o que permite concluir que gênero ainda é uma categoria não trabalhada na política assistência social, especialmente no CRAS de Salinópolis.
