Resumo:
This work turns to the study of rural education in units of conservation of sustainable use starting from the experience of the Rural Family House (RFH)Casa Familiar Rural (CFR) of Breves at Mapuá Extractive Reserve, at the municipality of Breves, at archipelago of Marajó, state of Pará. It analyzes the rural education, from its extensive progress and achievements history, its importance as a public policy through the Rural Family House at the Mapuá Extractive Reserve, emphasizing the concept of social organization in provision of rural education and its relationship with civil society and the State in all its spheres. Its main objective is to analyze education policy in the Mapuá Extractive Reserve, from the year 2011, with the implementation of the Rural Family House. This is a qualitative research whose methodological steps are as follows: bibliographycal review; gathering official and academic documents, published or not, and on-site visit for semi-structured interviews that will be applied to fifteen (15) individuals, including; Mapuá Extractive Reserve residents, community and union leaders, managers, students, alumni, teachers and former teachers of RFH. The guiding questions start from the following enquiries: How is the access and education service in the Mapuá Extractive Reserve evaluated? How is evaluated the access to education and teaching regard to the Rural Family House? If there is improving awareness of service to education at the Extractive Reserve after the implementation of the Rural Family House and what changes are observed in the students life and behavior after step into the Rural Family House? The study showed that the Breves Rural Family House, from their effective implementation within the Mapuá Extractive Reserve, and through its network of partnerships with governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the local community has positively influenced the execution of rural education policy within the Mapuá Reserve and throughout the municipality of Breves, constituting also as an important reference in the process of social transformation
