For this discussion, we will use different theories and language experts: Amossy (2008), Perelmam (1977, 2000), Maingueneau (1997, 2008) e Charaudeau (2008). The methodological procedure is based in discursives practices from Portuguese teacher recorded in classrooms, following some procedures: (i) observation in locus, (ii) recorded in locus, (iii) recorded in classroom with 28 students and age group between 13/14 years old. Preliminarily, it was concluded that construction of Ethos is connected with the image that the audience is the speaker and the ways to tell subject on the moment of enunciation. The image built for auditorium is directly related to collective representation, crystallized produced by society. The importance of this study for literary studies is to understand to what extent it is possible to establish dialogue between different theoretical approaches presented here. O plano de trabalho Ethos no discurso: trilhando um percurso teórico tem por objetivo elucidar o processo de construção do ethos no discurso, considerando o estudo e análise de uma cena de aula de Língua Portuguesa, de uma turma de 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola da rede particular de ensino. Para tanto, utilizaremos os conceitos de Amossy (2008), Perelmam (1977, 2000), Maingueneau (1997, 2008) e Charaudeau (2008). O procedimento metodológico está pautado nas práticas discursivas do professor de LM registradas em eventos da sala de aula, mediante os seguintes procedimentos: (i)observação em lócus, (ii) diário de campo, (iii) gravação de aulas em uma turma de vinte e oito alunos de faixa etária entre 13/14 anos. Preliminarmente, concluiu-se que a construção do ethos está ligada à imagem que o auditório faz do locutor e aos modos de dizer desse sujeito no momento da enunciação. A imagem pré-construída pelo auditório está diretamente relacionada à representação coletiva, cristalizada produzida pela sociedade.
