In Amazonia, since 90’s, ways of introducing programs and rural development politics have been
discussed, in order to articulate the economic practibility, social enclosure and the environmental
conservation. This process culminate on the development of a bid of public politics of financing and
socio environmental base rural impulse, raised from the agriculturist mobilization through their
organizations, as the Movimento Sindical de Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras Rurais – MSTR, with
the representative organizations of the rural familiar producers categories in Amazonia., the
Programa de Desenvolvimento Socioambiental da Produção Familiar Rural da Amazônia –
PROAMBIENTE, that means to articulate the backing mechanisms to the production with a new
conception of the resources use. In face of this scene, concepts as intervention and beneficiaries also
are in the center of the discussion because the participation focuses. Trying to make a reading of the
implementation of the social politics realized by the developing intervention of the
PROAMBIENTE, ethnographic studies were realized meaning this way to identify and to
understand the interaction between structure and action, enhancing the social learning process in the
local level of two areas of the program in the northeast of the Pará state, trying to contribute to the
analysis of the effects generated by the interventions on the local structures as well as the collective
actions taken by the agriculturist themselves.
