Part of the contributions of Wittgenstein, in his work of maturity, and his intertwining with ideas of Foucault. On the one hand, the first problematizes the language games generated in the different forms of life, pointing to the existence of family similarities between school mathematical models and those developed by riverside students. On the other hand, some notions of Foucault allow us to understand the regimes of truth present in the school, which marginalize other knowledge. The expected results, from the immersion in the field, should point to the forms of resistance of the riverside dwellers, present in their mathematical language games arising from their daily practices and in the permanence of the riverside dwellers in the place, from the maintenance of the school as a guarantee access to education as a right. A pesquisa em andamento problematiza as formas de resistências, pelo prisma da Etnomatemática, de alunos ribeirinhos do Rio Xingu frente à implementação de Belo Monte. Parte dos contributos de Wittgenstein, em sua obra da maturidade, e seus entrecruzamentos com as ideias de Foucault. Por um lado, o primeiro problematiza os jogos de linguagem gerados nas distintas formas de vida, apontando para a existência de semelhanças de famílias entre os modelos matemáticos escolares e aqueles desenvolvidos por alunos ribeirinhos. Por outro, algumas noções de Foucault nos permitem entender os regimes de verdade presentes na escola, que marginalizam outros saberes. Os resultados esperados, a partir da imersão no campo, devem apontar para as formas de resistência dos ribeirinhos, presentes nos seus jogos de linguagem matemáticos oriundos das suas práticas cotidianas e na própria permanência dos ribeirinhos no local, a partir da manutenção da escola enquanto garantia de acesso à educação como direito.
