A development policy that is adverse to indigenous people, who do not have the opportunity to participate in the discussions to face government proposals, even though their rights are guaranteed by the legislation in force both in Brazil and Colombia. Within the scope of these development policies, emerge the state apparatus and the power exercise for the construction of megaprojects that move a large amount of capital and affect populations in an irreversibly way, which, as well as will be seen, occurred and occurs with the Munduruku and Sionas people, forced to the remotion of their traditional territories, leaving behind their historical sources, their sacred and surviving places. FAPESPA - Fundação Amazônia de Amparo a Estudos e Pesquisas Este trabalho apresenta uma contribuição no debate sobre a implementação das políticas públicas de desenvolvimento com base nas ações do governo brasileiro e colombiano, num cenário onde os desdobramentos dessas ações afetam o destino dos povos indígenas, e a ideologia do desenvolvimento regional proposta pelo Estado favorece apenas aos interesses econômicos e políticos nacionais e internacionais. Uma política de desenvolvimento adversa às populações indígenas, que não têm oportunidade de participar das discussões para fazerem frente às propostas de governo, apesar de terem seus direitos garantidos pela legislação vigente tanto no Brasil quanto na Colômbia. No âmbito dessas políticas de desenvolvimento surge o aparato estatal e o exercício do poder para a construção de megaprojetos que movimentam um grande montante de capital e afetam as populações de modo irreversível, o que, como veremos, ocorreu e ocorre com as populações Munduruku e Sionas, forçados à remoção de seus territórios tradicionais, deixando para trás suas fontes históricas, seus lugares sagrados e de sobrevivência.
