We start from a “pre-ethno graphic” exploration about ball of nostalgia (baile da saudade), traditional parties present in Belém, Brazil, characterized by remastering of songs the years 1970-1990 and peculiar modes of sociability, to discuss the the persistence of nostalgic sensitivity, structuring the contemporary intersubjective tissue. From a type-ideal, which we call semiotical blues, we seek to understand the structural ele ments of this nostalgic sensibility: the artifice of its narrative temporality, or rather, its temporality as a narrative device. We used as key reference in the conduct of our thinking, the thought of M. Heidegger about everyday temporality, that of J. Derrida on the issue of “metaphysics of presence” and the phenomenological perspective of A. Schutz, in the perception of experience reserves and structures of relevance, present in the intersubjective processes and thus, produces the culture. O artigo reflete sobre o artifício da temporalidade na cultura contemporânea. Partimos de um encontro “pré-etnográfico” com um baile da saudade, tradicionais festas da cidade de Belém, caracterizadas pela remasterização de músicas dos anos 1970 a 1990 e por modos peculiares de sociabilidade para discutir o a persistência de uma sensibilidade nostálgica, estruturante dos tecidos intersubjetivos contemporâneos. A partir de um tipo-ideal, ao qual chamamos de semiotical blues, procuramos compreender os elementos estruturantes dessa sensibilidade nostálgica: o artifício da sua temporalidade narrativa, ou melhor, a sua temporalidade como um artifício narrativo. Utilizamos como referenciais centrais, na condução de nossa reflexão, o pensamento de M. Heidegger sobre a temporalidade quotidiana, o de J. Derrida sobre a questão da “metafísica da presença” e a perspectiva fenomenológica de A. Schutz, na percepção das reservas de experiência e das estruturas de pertinência presentes nos processos intersubjetivos e que, assim, compõem a cultura.
