In this context, logistics in general stands out as a source of opportunity for organizations to establish competitive advantages. In this respect, the present work seeks to highlight the contributions that the Milk Run System can bring to the improvement of the flow of materials in the supply area and with the work in partnership with its suppliers, allowing cost reduction through changes in logistics operations. The work was developed in a multinational company manufacturer of electronic parts for the 2 and 4 wheel poles, located in thecity of Manaus. The study showed that by replacing the conventional system with the Milk Run system, the company is able to improve delivery rates. In the case study, the work was carried out in the four suppliers with the highest volume of cargo, in which it was creating routes and delivery times that best met the interests of the company and suppliers. Considerando a situação atual da crise econômica mundial e a concorrência globalizada, se faz necessária a redução de custo e melhoria da produtividade nas atividades industriais. Nesse contexto a logística em geral, destaca-se como uma fonte de oportunidade para que as organizações possam estabelecer vantagens competitivas. Sob este aspecto, o presente trabalho busca evidenciar as contribuições que o Sistema Milk Run pode trazer para a melhoria do fluxo de materiais na área de suprimentos e com o trabalho em parceria com seus fornecedores, permitindo a redução de custo por meio de mudanças nas operações logísticas. O trabalho foi desenvolvido em uma empresa multinacional fabricante de peças eletrônicas para os polos de 2 e 4 rodas, localizada na cidade de Manaus. O estudo evidenciou que com a substituição do sistema convencional pelo sistema Milk Run, a empresa consegue melhorar os índices de entrega.
