This study aims to understand the space production process in the Municipality of Marabá between 1980 (T1) and 2019 (T2) from the landscape changes, considering the realization of the Grande Carajás Program (PGC) as an integral political event of this process. The scientific investigation of this work sought to follow the principles of integrated analysis, having as a field of study the municipality of Marabá, in the state of Pará, in the period between 1980 and 2019. Data were collected through bibliographic, documentary and cartographic research. from a methodological framework of integrated analysis. As a result, it appears that the landscape units analyzed in the initial time (T1) presented changes from the insertion of the PGC policy, changes that reflect in the reduction of vegetation coverage in the municipality, as well as in the expansion of consolidated and non-consolidated areas. less importantly, it affects the way of life of the population. A pesquisa que ora se apresenta, busca sustentar a ideia de que a paisagem deve ser pensada de forma conjunta à ação das políticas públicas, supondo que não se pode compreender integralmente as mudanças da paisagem sem considerar a participação das políticas de Estado. Esse estudo objetiva-se compreender o processo de produção do espaço do Município de Marabá entre os anos de 1980 (T1) e 2019 (T2) a partir das mudanças da paisagem, considerando a efetivação Programa Grande Carajás (PGC) como um evento político integrante deste processo. A investigação científica deste trabalho buscou seguir os princípios da análise integrada, tendo como campo de estudo o município de Marabá, no estado do Pará, no período entre os anos de 1980 a 2019. Os dados foram coletados mediante pesquisas bibliográficas, documental e cartográficas a partir de uma estrutura metodológica da análise integrada. Como resultados, tem-se que as unidades da paisagem analisadas no tempo inicial (T1), apresentaram mudanças a partir da inserção da política do PGC, mudanças que refletem na diminuição da cobertura vegetal do município, assim como na expansão de áreas consolidadas e não menos importante, afeta o modo de vida da população. 2023-03-01T14:28:48Z 2023-03-01T14:28:48Z 2021-08-16 Dissertação COSTA, Marcos Reinan da Fonsêca.
