We revisit the ideas and thoughts of theorists such as Wiener, Haraway, Pre ciado and Levy to reflect, from cybernetics to cyborg and datacentric culture, on these transformations when considering the sub ject-technology-society interrelationship. For that we also point out formative or historical landmarks, in Brazil and in the world, which culminate in a range of resources that expand memories and museological spaces with the impulse of cyber technologies. Advents that are at the base of what is called digital cul ture, where society is remodeled, affected by technological addenda. We also bring results from cartographies of spaces on the internet of Brazilian museum institutions, carried out between 2018 and 2020, which signal how we are in an immersion process in digital culture. Neste trabalho, apresentamos uma reflexão sobre como as tecnologias digitais altera- ram, nas últimas décadas e, inclusive, em um contexto de isolamento social motivado pela pandemia da Covid-19, a maneira como vi- venciamos os museus e o patrimônio cultural. Revisitamos ideias e pensamentos de teóricos como Wiener, Haraway, Preciado e Levy para refletir, da cibernética ao ciborgue e à cultura datacêntrica, sobre estas transformações ao considerar a inter-relação entre sujeito-tec nologia-sociedade. Para isso também pontua mos marcos formativos ou históricos, no Bra sil e no mundo, que culminam em uma gama de recursos que expandem memórias e espa ços museológicos com o impulso de cibertec nologias. Adventos que estão na base do que se nomina cultura digital, onde a sociedade se remodela afetada por adendos tecnológicos. Trazemos, ainda, resultados de cartografias de espaços na internet de instituições museais brasileiras, realizadas entre 2018 e 2020, que sinalizam o quão estamos em um processo de imersão na cultura digital.
