From the analysis of the indicators used in the Amazon Social Progress Index and Pastoral da Criança and considering the high degree of subjectivity that comprises Quality of Life, it would be possible to develop a methodology to measure these indexes aimed at the Amazonian social sphere that address the quality of life? The objective is to understand the quality of life in Amazonian municipalities through indicators that portray developments based on social performances such as the Amazon Social Progress Index and the Pastoral da Criança. The data analysis methodology will be carried out in two ways: firstly through the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) process originating from data from Pastoral da Criança and the second will be based on the Systematic Mapping of the Social Progress Index (IPS) of the Amazon based on the PICOC methodology (P: population/patients; I: intervention; C: comparison/control; O: result; C: context). Research and databases, bibliographic review, study and selection of productions, characterization, study and monitoring in the field and comparative report between these were carried out. With regard to the results obtained, it is noted that IPS Amazônia, in its latest reports, did little to address the traditional peoples who inhabit the corresponding area, as well as the periodicity of its publications. Pastoral da Criança, on the other hand, does not operate in the environmental area and excludes other audiences from its support other than pregnant women, babies and children up to 6 years of age. It is noteworthy that both sources of research and QoL activities benefit, but do not completely meet the needs of the region, providing a basis to guide public policy planning and actions aimed at the Amazon. O cenário amazônico se configura diverso onde os modos de vida, bem como a qualidade desta, estão diretamente relacionados com as interações ambientais e sociais. A partir da análise dos indicadores usados no Índice de Progresso Social da Amazônia e Pastoral da Criança e considerando o alto grau de subjetividade que compreende Qualidade de Vida seria possível desenvolver uma metodologia para mensurar esses índices voltados para o âmbito social Amazônico que abordam a qualidade de vida? Objetiva-se o entendimento de qualidade de vida dos municípios amazônicos através de indicadores que retratem desenvolvimentos baseados em performances sociais como Índice de Progresso Social da Amazônia e a Pastoral da Criança. A metodologia de análise de dados se dará de duas formas: primeiramente por meio do processo de Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) oriundos dos dados da Pastoral da Criança e a segunda será a partir do Mapeamento Sistemático do Índice de Progresso Social (IPS) da Amazônia baseado na metodologia PICOC (P: população/pacientes; I: intervenção; C: comparação/controle; O: resultado; C: contexto). Foram realizados investigação e bancos de dados, revisão bibliográfica, estudo e seletiva de produções, caracterização, estudo e acompanhamento em campo e relatório comparativo entre esses. No que se refere aos resultados obtidos se nota que o IPS Amazônia, pouco abordou nos seus últimos relatórios no que diz respeito aos povos tradicionais que habitam a área correspondente bem como também no que se refere a periodicidade de suas publicações. A Pastoral da Criança, por outro lado, não tem atuação na área ambiental e exclui de seus acompanhamentos outros públicos que não sejam gestantes, bebês e crianças até os 6 anos de idade.
