I emphasize the narrative structure to observe the evolution of writings and the form as narrative categories were used in the text. The work is a romance that presents many traces of modernity, mainly, in what is related to narrator and time. The novel is told from Irene‟s vision through conscience flow, memory is what leads her, since she tells a last action. The figure of narrator is dissimulated, it hides itself behind the characters as if she was only the guardian and the observer of the secrets. The external narrator appears at transitory moments, it leaves its message and takes shelter, in order to characters display their ideas. Another category that deserves to be saliented in the text is time. The work “They were six signed” can be classified as a novel of psychological time, since inmost of characters is disclosed without landmark of real time. Narrated space in the novel is relevant when we verify the subject-matter of the work only acquires those ratios because the fact occurred in that city of the country. There are few characters, but they present a singular complexity. Irene, the main character, and the novel have as main point, her drama. I present this study as an assay, mainly, for instigating other researchers to know Lindanor Celina‟s work. A leitura do conjunto da obra da escritora paraense Lindanor Celina objetivou uma reflexão quanto ao seu fazer literário. Esse fato permitiu-me optar por Eram seis assinalados, obra da fase amadura da escritora paraense. Na referida pesquisa, dou ênfase à estrutura narrativa para observar a evolução dos escritos e a forma como as categorias narrativas estavam dispostas no texto. A obra é um romance que apresenta muitos índices de modernidade, principalmente, no que diz respeito ao narrador e ao tempo. Romance narrado a partir da visão de Irene por meio do fluxo de consciência, a memória é quem a conduz, já que ela narra uma ação passada. A figura do narrador é dissimulada, ocultando-se por traz das personagens como se fosse apenas a guardiã e observadora dos segredos. O narrador externo aparece em momentos fugazes, dá o seu recado e se recolhe, para que as personagens exponham suas idéias. Outra categoria que merece ser ressaltada no texto é tempo. Eram seis assinados pode ser classificado como um romance de tempo psicológico, já que o interior das personagens é revelado sem demarcação de tempo físico. O espaço narrado é relevante quando se constata que o tema da obra só adquire aquelas proporções porque o fato ocorreu naquela cidade do interior. As personagens são poucas, porém apresentam uma complexidade singular. Irene, a personagem central e o romance, tem, como eixo temático, o seu drama.
