Resumo:
The Spilotes pullatus (Linnaeus, 1758) deposited in the Museu Paraense Emílio Coeldi (MP EC) was confered to verify the present ofloreal shield. The absence ofloreal shield was noted in 14 specimens. The absence in cheek by jowl was noted infive specimens. In nine specimens was noted lhe absence in barely one side of head. The result reinforce another publications ofthe necessity of to revise the genus.
