Phytosociological analysis was carried out in the restinga of Crispim, located in the municipality of Marapanim/PA, between the geographic coordinates 47°40'24" to 47°38'00" WGr. and 00°37'06" to 00°34'42 "S. We worked with medium and large sized thickets, using the Line Intercept methodology (MULLER-DOMBOIS and ELLEMBERG, 1974). For medium-sized bushes, 31 species were inventoried, distributed among 21 families. The main species according to the Importance Value Index (IVI) were: Cuphea fiava Spreng., Humiria balsamifera (Aubl.), Bombax longepedicelatum Ducke, Protium heptaphyllum (Aubl.)March., Eugenia biflora (L.)De. In the large thickets, 43 species were inventoried, distributed in 24 families, where the main species according to the IVI were: Byrsonima amoena Cuatr., Myrcia sphaerocarpa DC., Protium heptaphyllum (Aubl.)March, Myrcia fallax De., Cassipourea guianensis Aubl. The Myrtaceae family was the most representative according to the IVI in both types of thickets, reaching percentages above 50%. However, a difference in floristic composition was observed with respect to the other families, while in the medium bush, the families Malpighiaceae, Burseraceae and Rhyzophoraceae reached higher IVI values, in the larger bushes, families totally different from the previous ones, such as Hurniriaceae, Leguminosae and Bombacaceae, stood out. |
