The study of the use of plants by caboclo communities is of great importance for the knowledge of the use of Amazonian flora, given the experiences accumulated by these populations through centuries of close contact with the environment. The present work aimed at surveying, collecting and identifying the plant species used by the community of Martins Pinheiro village in the municipality of Maracanã-PA. This community is located on the road which gives access to Km40 of the Mocoóca, on the banks of the Currais River. For the ethnobotanical study, interviews were conducted with community members with recognized experience in local vegetation. In the interviews the information was about: identification of the community, identification of the interviewee, identification of the plant species and about the raw material. The species were identified by the method of comparison through the João Murça Pires Herbarium collection of the Botany Coordination of the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará, as well as through the literature. We found 103 species distributed in 45 families, used in the most diverse ways, whether for food, construction, attraction for hunting, magic power and medicine. This work revealed the plant richness existing in the village, both in terms of the diversity of resources and their use and manipulation by the community.
