This work aimed to study the secondary vegetation with a view to its management for honey production and to continue the pollen analysis that is already being done in this area, to identify the pollen types through melissopalinological analysis of the honey of Apis mellifera L. in the studied areas and to do the management of capoeira areas for honey production, since beekeeping is a practice that is feasible due to the great diversity of species found in the capoeira. The research was done in Bragança-PA, where with the help of data survey a thinning of the area was done, aiming to privilege the honey species. The main honey species selected were Byrsonima crispa, Croton matourensis and Tapirira guianensis and the main species discarded were Doliocarpus breupedicellatus, Arabidaea guaricensis and Bauhinia macrostachya. After the management the selected species showed improvement and the beekeeping activity showed a better yield. O surgimento de grandes áreas de floresta secundária, e estas sendo aproveitadas apenas através do método de derruba e queima para aproveitamento em roças, está levando estas áreas a um processo de degradação, o que faz necessário estudos de alternativas de usos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo estudar a vegetação secundária com vistas ao seu manejo para a produção de mel e dar continuidade às análises polínicas que já estão sendo feitas nessa área, identificar os tipos polínicos através de análise melissopalinologica do mel de Apis mellifera L. das áreas estudadas e fazer o manejo de áreas de capoeira para a produção de mel, já que a apicultura é uma prática que se mostra viável devido a grande diversidade de espécies encontradas na capoeira. A pesquisa foi feita em Bragança-PA, onde com ajuda de levantamento de dados foi feito um desbaste da área, que visava privilegiar as espécies melíferas. As principais espécies meliferas selecionadas foram Byrsonima crispa, Croton matourensis e Tapirira guianensis e as principais espécies descartadas foram Doliocarpus breupedicellatus, Arabidaea guaricensis e Bauhinia macrostachya.
