They are fishes with sedentary habits and slow swimming, known as "camboatazinho". The present work aimed to systematically study the specimens of Corydoradinae from the ichthyological collection of the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi. The study of the collections is essential for Systematics and Taxonomy, functioning as a permanent source of data on biodiversity. The specimens were morphologically analyzed with the aid of a stereoscopic microscope, with magnifications ranging from 10 to 40 x. Measurements were made with the aid of a pachymeter to the tenth of a millimeter. At first, some specimens were identified as Callichthyidae, and in the present study their identifications were corrected to Brochis splendens, Callichthys callichtys, Hoplosternum Littorale, H. magdalena, Megalechis thoracata; M. personata. The specimens of Corydoras were identified as morphospecies and in the present study were found to be representatives of Corydoras hastatus, Corydoras p unctatus and Corydoras trilineatus. A total of 265 specimens were analyzed, being Brochis splendens (n=37), Callichthys callichthys (n=3) Corydoras hastatus (n=177), Corydoras punctatus (11=3) and Corydoras trilineatus (n=15). It is appropriate to comment on the inclusion of the Callichthyinae species timely reviewed; Hoplosternum littorale (n=5), Hoplosternum magdalenae (n=l), Megalechis personata (11=2), Megalechis thoracata (n=21). Os Coridoradinae (Callichthyidae) distinguem-se dos demais por possuir a cabeça lateralmente comprimida, barbilhões rictais curtos (alçando pouco além da abertura do opérculo) e um único par de barbilhões mentais curtos no lábio inferior. São peixes de hábitos sedentários e natação vagarosa, conhecidos como "camboatazinho". O presente trabalho teve como objetivo estudar sistematicamente os exemplares de Corydoradinae do acervo ictiológico do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi. O estudo das coleções é essencial para a Sistemática e Taxonomia, funcionando como fonte permanente de dados sobre a biodiversidade. Os exemplares foram analisados morfologicamente com o auxílio de microscópio estereoscópico, com os aumentos variando entre 10 e 40 x. As medidas foram feitas com o auxílio de um paquímetro ao décimo de milímetro. A princípio, alguns exemplares estavam identificados como Callichthyidae sendo, no presente trabalho, corrigidas suas identificações para Brochis splendens, Callichthys callichtys, Hoplosternum Littorale, H. magdalena, Megalechis thoracata; M. personata. Os exemplares de Corydoras estavam identificados como morfoespécies e no presente trabalho constatou-se serem representantes de Corydoras hastatus, Corydoras p unctatus e Corydoras trilineatus. Foram analisados 265 exemplares, sendo Brochis splendens (n=37), Callichthys callichthys (n=3) Corydoras hastatus (n= 177), Corydoras punctatus (11=3) e Corydoras trilineatus (n=15).
