Resumo:
The archaeological sites studied in this work are located on the lower course of the Cassiporé river, in the northern part of the Federal Territory of Amapá. These are cemeteries of the Aristé Phase, according to the denomination and classification of Evans and Meggers (1), an archaeological cultural complex of specific geographical distribution and duration. New elements are presented and analyzed here that contribute to a better determination and characterization of this archaeological phase.
