This Jewish presence left marks both in the economy and in the society of the Amazon, influencing social dynamics, commercial practices, and the interaction between different cultural groups in the region. The present dissertation seeks to understand the strategies adopted by the Jewish community in Gurupá to ensure their permanence and achieve socioeconomic integration over time. The analysis is based on various primary sources, such as birth records, death records, and real estate documents, newspapers of the time available in the Digital Newspaper Library of the National Library, photographs, and regional history. This approach aims to unveil spaces and subjects that enrich Amazonian literature, contributing to a more diversified and sociocultural representation of the region. Nas últimas décadas do século XIX, a Amazônia viu-se imersa em um cenário de prosperidade econômica impulsionado pela exploração de recursos naturais, especialmente os vastos seringais descobertos na região, circunstâncias que atraíram imigrantes nacionais e estrangeiros para o Vale Amazônico, incluindo os judeus de origem marroquina. Essa presença judaica deixou marcas tanto na economia quanto na sociedade da Amazônia, influenciando dinâmicas sociais, práticas comerciais e a interação entre diferentes grupos culturais na região. A presente dissertação busca compreender as estratégias adotadas pela comunidade judaica em Gurupá para garantir sua permanência e alcançar integração socioeconômica ao longo do tempo. A análise fundamenta-se em diversas fontes primárias, como registros de nascimentos, óbitos e imóveis, jornais da época disponíveis na Hemeroteca Digital da Biblioteca Nacional, fotografias e história regional.
