The Collection of Social Technology Experiences in the Amazon brings together 100 initiatives that collaborate to give visibility and encourage dialogue in the field of Social Technology (ST) in the Amazon. This collection is the result of two years of interactions around the Sustainable Social Technologies Program for the Amazon – Agenda 2030, launched by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) to promote social technology as a technological development strategy for the Amazon region, considering social protagonism, the valorization of culture, the sustainable use of natural resources and relationships of solidarity in the productive environment. These developers produce solutions to social problems and collaborate with innovations for family farming, fish farming, extractivism, environmental conservation, natural resource management, education, culture, digital inclusion, income generation, socio-productive inclusion, sustainable construction materials, energy generation, health, sanitation and food technology.
