Was taken as an element of analysis and interpretation the perception of social actors investigated (students, administrative technicians and managers of the Campus).To meet this reality in order to create strategies for school residency under the Student Assistance Policy (PAE) in the context of the field's technological education. The main objective was to understand what are the most relevant factors that lead to a high number of students failed (which did not achieve the minimum average) and retained (that were disapproved in three or more and retained (which were disapproved in three or more subjects, in addition to the significant number of school dropouts in the last classes of the CRMB, considering the context of the rural technological education. Thus, the origin of these students was verified and where they are inserted, emphasizing that the majority is of farmers and children of farmers from the rural area, residents in settlements of the Land Reform and campsites located in the municipality of Marabá-Pará and other municipalities in the Paraense southeast . Data from the field were analyzed through consultations with the documents and institutional reports, which were complemented with essential information seized with students and teachers, which made it possible to access the a significant number of different social actors who work directly in teaching-learning, and from their testimonies the intervention project was elaborated, "product" of this masters that will be presented to the institution in order to implement it in the CRMB, as a purpose to solve the problems of retention Esta dissertação apresenta uma discussão para realizar uma intervenção adequada ao problema da retenção dos educandos do Curso Técnico em Agropecuária Integrado ao Ensino Médio do Campus Rural de Marabá (CRMB) – Instituto Federal do Pará (IFPA). Tomou-se como elemento de análise e interpretação a percepção dos atores sociais investigados (educandos, servidores técnicos administrativos e gestores do Campus). Buscou-se conhecer essa realidade a fim de criar estratégias para a permanência escolar sob o suporte da Política de Assistência Estudantil (PAE) no contexto da educação tecnológica do campo. O principal objetivo foi compreender quais os fatores mais relevantes que levam a um alto número de educandos ficarem reprovados (que não atingiram a média mínima) e retidos (que ficaram reprovados em três ou mais disciplinas, além do número expressivo de evasão escolar que vem ocorrendo nas últimas turmas do CRMB, considerando o contexto da educação tecnológica do campo. Assim, procurou-se verificar a origem desses educandos e onde estão inseridos, ressaltando que a maioria é de agricultores e filhos de agricultores provenientes da área rural, residentes em assentamentos da Reforma Agrária e de acampamentos localizados no Município de Marabá-Pará e de outros Municípios do Sudeste Paraense. Analisaram-se os dados obtidos em campo por meio de consultas aos documentos e relatórios institucionais, os quais foram complementados com informações essenciais apreendidas sob a técnica do grupo focal com educandos e educadores, o que possibilitou aceder a dimensão de falas significativas dos diversos atores sociais que atuam diretamente no ensino-aprendizagem e a partir dos seus depoimentos elaborou-se o projeto de intervenção, “produto” desse mestrado que será apresentado à instituição a fim de implantá-lo no CRMB, como propósito de resolver os problemas decorrentes da retenção e a própria evasão escolar no campus Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará 2023-03-20T13:59:25Z 2023-03-20T13:59:25Z 2017-09-05 Dissertação LIMA, Maria Eliane de.
