Family farming has characteristics based on the extraction of natural resources and part of the production of food, production is well diversified, focused on temporary and permanent crops, this comprises an agricultural family establishment is something systematic, since it has a multifaceted nature From such reflection , this work aims to produce an analysis, based on the systemic approach, of a family farm. The property under study is located in the Benedito Alves Bandeira - BAB Settlement, in the municipality of Acará - PA. This research is a case study with the collection of qualitative and quantitative data, analyzed under a systemic approach. The study family has its roots in the Brazilian northeast. The property is a lot of 47 there. The productive systems are divided into: system of cultivation, of creation and extractivist. The agricultural establishments, mainly those of family production, present a high degree of complexity in their composition and activities, which causes that their approach presents challenges with respect to the understanding. Exercising the ability to diagnose and present results in such establishments should be a goal for professionals in a field as comprehensive and diverse as the agricultural sciences.
