In this sense, it will highlight it is of utmost importance the technological improvement aligned with the decrease of consumption, aiming at the well being of the human being and efficiency, without loss of comfort and quality of life. In this perspective, Supernorte supermarket, because it is a building built and in operation, were investigated the company's expenses, and then to elaborate appropriate solutions for its installation. In this way, the results indicate areas of greater influence in the final consumption of electric energy, being possible with the implementation of retrofit lighting project, improving luminance, light and energy efficiency, reducing specific power and electricity consumption. O trabalho de pesquisa – retrofit da iluminação Supernorte, tratará do desperdício no consumo energético enfocando que a iluminação é um fator relevante, que deve ser levado em consideração. Nesse sentido, destacará que é de suma importância o aprimoramento tecnológico alinhado à diminuição do consumo, aspirando ao bem estar do ser humano e eficiência, sem que haja perda no conforto e qualidade de vida. Nessa perspectiva, no supermercado Supernorte, por se tratar de uma obra pronta e em funcionamento, foram averiguados os gastos da empresa, para em seguida elaborar soluções adequadas a sua instalação.
