Understanding that the preparation of table of temporality is the product of the assessment documents, we tried to use as example existing tables in Brazil, we constructed a comparative analysis between each table highlighting the points where they converge and diverge, as well as, the functionality of the table, in order to show what practical on the national scene results from the evaluation. The research has as general objective to analyze the assessment documents while archiving function, presenting concepts and some aspects related to the Brazilian context and its visualization in practice, seeking to achieve this objective was performed a theoretical research literature of qualitative, where data collection took place from a review of the literature. The evaluation has as its goal the assigning values to documents that determines the proper disposal of the same, however, in the course of the research it was established that the way occurs this allocation of value that also determines the periods of custody of the documentation is not made clear, especially when we are talking about public institutions, in this sense the research makes some comments and suggestions. O trabalho aborda a avaliação de documentos enquanto uma função arquivística em construção, os aspectos conceituais, o produto resultante desta função, e o desenvolvimento e aplicabilidade no contexto brasileiro. Entendendo-se que a elaboração de tabela de temporalidade seja o produto da avaliação de documentos, procurou-se utilizar como exemplo tabelas existente no Brasil, construiuse uma análise comparativa entre cada tabela ressaltando os pontos onde as mesmas convergem e divergem, bem como, a funcionalidade das tabela, afim de evidenciar o que de prático no cenário nacional resulta da avaliação. A pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar a avaliação de documentos enquanto função arquivística, apresentando conceitos e alguns aspectos relativos ao contexto brasileiro e sua visualização na pratica, buscando atingir este objetivo foi efetuada uma pesquisa teórica bibliográfica de cunho qualitativo, onde a coleta de dados se deu a partir uma revisão de literatura. A avaliação tem como objetivo a atribuição de valores aos documentos que determina a destinação adequada aos mesmos, porém, no decorrer da pesquisa foi possível constatar que a maneira como ocorre essa atribuição de valor, que também determina os prazos de guarda da documentação, não é feita de maneira clara, principalmente quando nos referimos as instituições públicas, neste sentido a pesquisa faz algumas considerações e sugestões. 2017-09-28T12:54:17Z 2017-10-31T17:26:20Z 2017-09-28T12:54:17Z 2017-10-31T17:26:20Z 2017 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação MORAIS, Ayrton Lima.
