This research had the following question: what factors have caused the constant lack of school feeding for the students of School October 17? It was based on the legislations that ensure students' right to school meals, as well as the works of authors who discuss the subject. The research was based on a qualitative approach, using as data collection technique structured interviews with the subjects that were part of the researched school, which were: two teachers, two parents of students, five students, as well as open questionnaires that were applied for the director of teaching of the rural schools of the municipality of Pacajá, pedagogical coordinator and coordinator of the school lunch of the Secretary of Education. It was verified that the main reason that causes the lack of school feeding for the students is due to the Secretary of Education not to perform the delivery of the food in the school, being under the responsibility of only the teacher. The studies presented here have shown the serious learning losses faced by the students of School October 17 due to the violation of their rights to access to school meals. Considering the authors' reflections on the importance of school feeding for the teaching and learning process, it was possible to perceive how great the losses that the students of the 17 the of October school have faced, regarding the quality of teaching, since the have had little access to school feeding in recent years. Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir a importância da alimentação escolar para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem dos estudantes da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental 17 de Outubro, localizada na Rodovia Transamazônica, BR-230, vicinal São Vicente no km-294, do município de Pacajá, no estado do Pará. Este trabalho teve como problema de pesquisa a seguinte questão: quais fatores que têm ocasionado a falta constante da alimentação escolar para os estudantes da Escola 17 de Outubro? Tomou por base as legislações que asseguram o direito do aluno à alimentação escolar, bem como os trabalhos de autores que discutem sobre o tema. A pesquisa se pautou em uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizando como técnica de coleta de dados entrevistas estruturadas com os sujeitos que fazem parte da escola pesquisada que foram: dois docentes, dois pais de alunos, cinco alunos, como também questionários abertos que foram aplicados para o diretor de ensino das escolas do campo do município de Pacajá, coordenador pedagógico e coordenador da merenda escolar da Secretaria de Educação. Foi constatado que o principal motivo que ocasiona a falta de alimentação escolar para os estudantes é devido a Secretaria de Educação não realizar a entrega da alimentação na escola, ficando sob responsabilidade apenas do professor. Os estudos aqui apresentados vêm mostrando os sérios prejuízos na aprendizagem que têm enfrentado os estudantes da Escola 17 de Outubro devido a violação dos seus direitos ao acesso a alimentação escolar. Considerando as reflexões dos autores que discorrem sobre a importância da alimentação escolar para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, foi possível perceber quão grandes são os prejuízos que têm enfrentado os estudantes da escola 17 de Outubro, relativo a qualidade do ensino, uma vez que os mesmos tiveram pouco acesso à alimentação escolar nos últimos anos. 2019-03-08T20:24:36Z 2019-03-08T20:24:36Z 2018 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação SANTOS, Orleando Meneses dos.
