The collection of botanical material for the two species was carried out in the Bosque Rodrigues Alves, located in the municipality of Belém-PA, from each individual were made exsicates and later confirmed the species, through specialized literature and comparison between the botanical material collected and gifts in virtual herbaria. After the identification, in the laboratory of Morfo-Anatomia Vegetal was carried out the diaphanization for analysis of foliar architecture. The species analyzed in this study had characteristics in common venation of 1st category pinnate, veins of 2nd category brochidodromous and uniform angulation, veins of 3rd category alternate alternating, veins of 4th category regular polygonal reticulated, presenting larger order of veins. The veins of 3rd category differ between species in the angulation, while M. huberi is acute, M. paraenses presents obtuse angle. Fifth category veins are absent in M. huberi, while the 5th category vein of M. paraenses is of the dichotomous type. The species presented veins of up to fifth order and alternate tertiary percorrents. The venules (F.E.V.s) were of the simple and branched type with a single branch, appearing to be a significant character for the separation of the species. The analysis of Sapotaceae species allowed the observation of taxonomic characters important for a possible differentiation among the studied species. The Sapotaceae family is characterized by the presence of veins of the second type of brochidodromous type O presente trabalho tem como objetivo descrever e caracterizar a arquitetura foliar e os padrões de venação das espécies Manilkara huberi (Ducke) A. Chev e Manilkara paraensis (Huber) Standl. A coleta de material botânico para as duas espécies foi realizada no Bosque Rodrigues Alves, localizado no município de Belém-PA, de cada indivíduo foram confeccionadas exsicatas e posteriormente feita a confirmação das espécies, por meio de literatura especializada e comparação entre o material botânico coletado e os presentes em herbários virtuais. Após a identificação, no laboratório de Morfo-Anatomia Vegetal foi realizada a diafanização para análise de arquitetura foliar. As espécies analisadas neste estudo apresentaram características em comum venação de 1ª categoria pinada, veias de 2ª categoria broquidródoma e angulação uniforme, veias de 3ª categoria alterna percorrente, veias de 4ª categoria regular poligonal reticulada, apresentando ordem maiores de veias. As veias de 3ª categoria diferem entre as espécies na angulação, enquanto M. huberi é aguda, M. paraenses apresenta ângulo obtuso. As veias de 5ª categoria é ausente em M. huberi, ao passo que a veia de 5ª categoria da M. paraenses é do tipo dicotômica. As espécies apresentaram veias de até quinta ordem e terciárias alternas percorrentes. As vênulas (F.E.V.s) foram do tipo simples e ramificada com uma única ramificação, parecendo ser um caráter significativo para a separação das espécies. A análise das espécies de Sapotaceae possibilitou a observação de caracteres taxonômicos importantes para uma possível diferenciação entre as espécies estudadas.
