This article has as main objective to analyze the covers of the magazines SuperInteressante, edition 349, published in July 2015 and ELLE Brasil, published in December 2015. The choice of this theme comes from the importance of the discussion about women's empowerment. For the accomplishment of the research, the covers of the mentioned magazines were selected, as well as a bibliographical survey, considering the sign in the process of understanding the image reading. For this, we approach-or studies developed by the theorists as PIERCE (2010), BAKHTIN (2009) and PÊCHEUX (1999). The article deals with the symbolic aspect that is part of the thirdness of the Peircian theory in which the relevant issues behind the images are discussed. |
