The present work intends to make a analysis of the labor market in the city of Belém related to the archivists in order to understand the demands of the companies for this type of professional. In order to do so, we selected institutions with different branches of action, with the application of interviews to the managers of the companies or responsible for the Human Resources sector, to understand their point of view and their demands regarding the archivists. The research indicates the partial ignorance of the companies about the professional archivist, however indicating the necessity of the management and documentary organization of their collections, suggesting possible insertion of archivists in the labor market in Belém. |
