Resumo:
Small and medium enterprises, in the current Brazilian scenario, represent a great mover of capital movement, service and jobs for the market as a whole. However, it is not all ventures created that arrive at a considerable success, many of them fail to meet market demands and die prematurely. To combat these bankruptcies are several entrepreneurs who focus their actions for evaluations that support the improvement of the processes, products and services provided by the enterprise. Within this context, the MOSE (Guiding Model for Entrepreneurship Success) competences is presented as a proposal for a model guide for the improvement of productive processes and aims to provide support for enterprises to grow in an organized, healthy and controlled manner. MOSE counts with three graded grades in bronze, silver and gold, each evaluation with its processes and improvements at more advanced levels. The evaluations are based on a system of stars and medals that indicate the maturity of the undertaking that realizes them. This work aims to present a tool, built in free technology, appropriate to the practices explained in the context evaluation (bronze) of MOSE, in order to provide tool support for the execution of this type of evaluation. The execution of this work was done by means of an in-depth study on MOSE certification with a major focus on the model’s context evaluation script. From this script a flow of activities was created and requirements for the tool were specified, the development of the tool was done with free technologies. The study and execution of the implementation activities gave rise to the tool Spider- MOSEAppraisal, tool made in the context of the SPIDER (Software Process Improvement: Development and Research) project, therefore, if it is a free tool. The research also produced a flow of activities adhering to the context assessment of the MOSE competence as well as to a set of requirements adherent to that flow.
