The objective of this study was to analyze the educational process of the deaf in the context of the classroom. The central focus of the research is the interlanguage, that is, the influence of LIBRAS in the Portuguese Language writing of the deaf student. For the elaboration of this work, we adopted the methodology of qualitative bibliographical research, which served as a subsidy and foundations for this work. Among the main findings of this research is that inclusive education is a construct that needs to be consolidated and that LIBRAS as the mother tongue of deaf people has its characteristics and that modify the writing and perception of the latter, but that it becomes an efficient means of communication with the outside world. We believe that analyzing the issues surrounding the deaf culture is extremely important so that they can interact in the society in which they are inserted. O presente trabalho foi escolhido a partir de minhas observações da educação dos surdos realizadas durante a prática de estágio em uma instituição municipal de educação infantil e fundamental do município de Abaetetuba no Estado do Pará, onde pudemos perceber as variâncias que a escrita dos surdos tem em relação à língua portuguesa, a chamada interlíngua. O trabalho objetivou analisar como se dá o processo educacional dos surdos no contexto de sala de aula. O foco central da pesquisa é a interlíngua, isto é, a influência da LIBRAS na escrita da Língua Portuguesa do aluno surdo. Para a elaboração deste trabalho, adotamos a metodologia da pesquisa bibliográfica de cunho qualitativo, que serviu de subsídio e alicerce para este trabalho. Entre os principais achados desta pesquisa destaca-se que a educação inclusiva é um construto que precisa ser alicerçado e que a LIBRAS como língua materna dos surdos tem suas características e que modificam a escrita e percepção destes, mas que se torna um eficiente meio de comunicação com o mundo externo.
