Also is described the sizing and a estimated budgetary cust for the chosen treatment of the effluent of a bovine slaughterhouse in Tucuruí-PA. Identifies the state of the cattle sector of the country, besides the various types of existing treatments for slaughterhouses’s effluent, highlighting the chosen treatment and it’s advantages. With the use of a in loco visit and a application of a semi-structured questionnaire, chosen as a methodologic procedure, the study proposes, referenced on identified publications and in the adopted methodology, that the slaughterhouse effluent, characterized with a high organic matter content, needs to be treated with a compound system of an anaerobic pond adjacent to a facultative pond, with a anaerobic membrane bioreactor. Finally, the study presents the plans of the proposed project and the estimated budgetary cust, for the evaluation of the total cust of the construction. The present study concludes that the enterprise needs the implementation of the proposed treatment system, mainly aiming the mitigation of socio-environmental impacts. O presente trabalho apresenta em sua composição levantamento bibliográfico que fundamenta toda a pesquisa realizada, dando o embasamento necessário para o estudo. Também são descritos o dimensionamento e o custo orçamentário de um sistema de tratamento proposto para um matadouro bovino de Tucuruí-PA. Identifica o estado do setor de bovinos no país, além dos variados tipos de tratamento existentes para o efluente proveniente de matadouro, destacando o tratamento escolhido e suas vantagens. Com visita in loco e a aplicação de um questionário semiestruturado, escolhidos como procedimento metodológicos, o estudo propõe, referenciado nas publicações identificadas e na metodologia adotada, que o efluente do matadouro, que se caracteriza com um alto teor de matéria orgânica, seja tratado com um sistema composto por uma lagoa anaeróbia seguida de uma lagoa facultativa, com um biorreator modelo lagoa coberta instalado na lagoa anaeróbia, para o reaproveitamento de biogás. Por último, o estudo apresenta o dimensionamento do sistema escolhido, com a elaboração de plantas do projeto proposto e uma estimativa orçamentária, para avaliação de custo da obra.
