A frequency analysis was accomplished and of intensities of precipitation that considered monthly periods for identification of the monthly medium precipitation, annual medium precipitation and seasonal variation in São Domingos' stations, Badajós, Fazenda Maringá, Rondon of Pará and Tauiri. The stations are evenly distributed along Capim River and it was verified that of the headboard to the bass course of the river, the rainy period understands the months of January to April. The seasonal variation of the rains in the display that is in the summer, corresponding to the months of January, February and March, that it happens most of the total amount of annual precipitation, being understood among 40% in São Domingos and 54% in Rondon of Pará. It is noticed, clearly, that between the headboard and the low course of the river, there is an uniformity of the rainy period during the whole year. Already in relation to the less rainy period, it is noticed that there is a delay of two months between the headboard and the low course. Relating the rainy period and the drought period with the phenomena La Niña and El Niño, respectively, we concluded that the studied area is quite sensitive the those atmospheric phenomena. Este trabalho teve como objetivo estudar o comportamento do regime de precipitação pluviométrica da Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio Capim através de dados de precipitação de cinco estações pluviométricas estrategicamente distribuídas ao longo do Rio Capim com séries de dados com duração entre 10 e 35 anos. Foi realizada uma análise de freqüência e de intensidades de precipitação considerando os períodos mensais para identificação da precipitação média mensal, precipitação média anual e variação sazonal nas estações de São Domingos, Badajós, Fazenda Maringá, Rondon do Pará e Tauiri. As estações estão uniformemente distribuídas ao longo do Rio Capim e verificou-se que da cabeceira até o baixo curso do rio, o período mais chuvoso compreende os meses de janeiro a abril. A variação sazonal das chuvas nos mostra que é no verão, correspondente aos meses de janeiro, fevereiro e março, que ocorre a maior parte da quantidade total de precipitação anual, ficando compreendida entre 40% em São Domingos e 54% em Rondon do Pará. Resultados mostram que, entre a cabeceira e o baixo curso do rio, há uma uniformidade do período chuvoso durante todo o ano. Já em relação ao período menos chuvoso, percebe-se que há um atraso de dois meses entre a cabeceira e o baixo curso.
