The present study aims to show the influence of temperature anomaly of sea surface (SSTA) in the precipitation of the northeast coast of Pará the following municipalities: Salinópolis-PA, Soure – Pa, Tracuateua-PA and Cuiarana village in the municipality of Salinópolis-PA . For that were used daily and monthly rainfall data from the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) and the Meteorological Tower experimental Sitio Modesto Rodrigues (UFPA / UFRA) and weekly and monthly SSTA that was compiled in the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for the period 2010 to 2014 were analyzed five years of monthly data between SST and precipitation (PRP) as well as statistical techniques for lagged correlation (2-4 months) between Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) and PRP, IOS and Anomaly Precipitation (APRP), one with 5 years and another 6 months for the most significant events of El Niño and La Niña, in each location. The results show the influence of the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) in the local precipitation of the study area. In this regard, it was observed that during the El Nino there is a reduction in the rainfall, while the period Nina La there is an increase in the rain, and in Soure-PA was observed a greater precipitation than other locations: Cuiarana-PA, Salinópolis-PA and Tracuateua-PA. However, the results show that in the period 2010 to 2014 was obtained lagged positive correlations occurring results in a better Cuiarana-PA with other locations 0.43 and below 0.1, while at the times of events El Nino and La Niña also obtained positive correlations, and the El Niño period in Salinópolis-Pa with 0.46 and 0.33 Tracuateua and the period of La Niña in Cuiarana-PA 0.45 and Soure-PA 0, 69. For the study of weekly case, there has been a direct relationship between SSTA weekly and weekly rainfall related to the phenomena of El Niño and La Niña. |
