Resumo:
The monthly distribution, seasonal and hourly average quarterly period of precipitation has been analyzed in this study aiming to identify the characteristics of the temporal variability of precipitation, with its application in activities linked to tourism, fishing and farming developed on the site of the study. Rainfall data used in this study refer to the values observed in the years 2012 and 2013 and which were obtained by means of sensor installed on the top of a micrometeorology tower with 15 meters in height, within an orchard of mango pink cultivar Tommy Atkins, situated in the locality of Cuiarana, northeast of the State of Pará, with location of Lat 00°39´14”S; Long 047° 16´07”W. For the purposes of analysis, the precipitation data were organized into Excel spreadsheets in average monthly totals, where was evaluated monthly rainfall distribution and quarterly period was rated the hourly distribution, seasonal and their likelihood of occurrence of the event of rain. The quarterly periods used were as follows: January, February and March (JFM), April, may and June (AMJ), July, August and September (JAS) and October, November and December (OND). The results showed that the monthly time scale, the months of January to June period presented high values of precipitation compared to the period from August to December. On the scale of time per quarter, it was found that JFM was the wettest quarter, representing 46% of the total annual precipitation, followed by the JMA quarter 37% entry. On the other hand, OND was the driest quarter, totaling only 5% of the annual precipitation, followed by the quarter JAS with 12% of this amount of rain. In hourly distribution per quarter, the quarters JFM and JMA showed rain events at all times analyzed, while in quarter JAS and OND was verified absence of rain event in some timetables. As for the Outlook, it was noted that in the first two quarters (JFM)-(AMJ), the values of the probability of occurrence of hourly precipitation were much more pronounced if compared to the values observed in the last two quarters (JAS) – (OND).
