Used data on root growth in the experimental design ESECAFLOR that simulates dry forest, located on National Forest Caxiuanã, Melgaço municipality in Pará, in the coordinates 01 º 42 '30 "S and 51 º 31' 45" W 60m altitude. We analyzed the components of precipitation and soil moisture to quantify the growth of roots. For this study we used 18 images taken through rhizotrons, cameras that are attached to the ground and make it possible to check the growth of roots, nine rhizotrons in each plot (A and B). To calculate the total biomass and density of roots used the technique Ingrothw colors. The results show that the parcel A had a greater root growth when compared to parcel B, while plot B showed higher amount of biomass and density of roots. |
