The determination of the velocities os seismic waves from the data generated in the subsurface is essential for seismic imaging. The velocity elds generated will support for imaging for subsurface structural framework. For a good imaging, date must be stacked and migrated with velocities appropriated stacking and migration. The estimates of the velocity model is made by velocity analysis. This paper presents a review of some methods of velocity analysis in time. The presentation
is done in three steps. The second chapter is a description of the CMP method, its characteristics and limitations, followed by velocity analysis. In the third chapter, to correct the limitations of the CMP method is discussed of DMO correction, with its advantagens and limitations, then the velocity analysis. In the fourth chapter is made an aproach to migration, with emphasison the prestack migration time. In this chapter we make the velocity analysis using the operator time KIRCHHOFF migration. Finally, present the discussions of the results and conclusions. |
