The correct imaging of dipping reflectors is extremely important for an accurate
seismic comprehension. Migration velocity analysis seems a good choice when
these reflectors appears. To solve this problem, I'm applying pre-stack migration to
real data. Pickings are chosen from CIG sections, observed the dipping showed on
the sections. The horizontal events consists in the best velocity field for nonstacked
data, and it's not available for the conventional seismic processing. The
solution proposed here exhibited reasonable results for real data obtained from
Jequitinhonha basin. |
