Resumo:
The precipitation is crucial for the survival of living beings in general . A considerable amount of energy received from the high rate of evaporation minimize the proportion of water available even in the rainy season worries behind in all human activities , and this variation can cause stability and environmental changes causing instability in certain regions. The Amazon forest maintains high humidity at low levels , which is possibly recycled by convection joins with other factors such as the penetration of frontal systems , Bolivian High , the Intertropical Convergence Zone ( ITCZ ) and Upper Tropospheric Cyclonic Vortex (UTCV ) influence rainfall regime in the region . In this paper a comparative study of precipitation from two different methods of quantitative assessments of precipitation, which is the data obtained from a rain gauge / pluviographs belonging to the National Institute of Meteorology ( INMET ) and estimated data from satellites TRMM ( Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission will be held ) algorithm ( 3B43 ) which is a method of estimating rainfall corresponding to time series data of monthly average rainfall in millimeters per hour ( mm hr- 1 ) calculated from data from multiple satellites , in addition to TRMM . Rain gauges are located in the city of Belém, capital of Pará state , located in northern Brazil latitude 01 ° 26 ' S and longitude 48 ° 29' W and Brief municipality in the state of Pará which is located southwest of the island Marajo in the state , latitude 01 º 40'56 "South and longitude 50 º 28'49 " west. The results from static methods , accumulated annual , quarterly and monthly averages developed with measurements of precipitation acquired by the two methods in the period 2000-2010 , as well constadas were small differences between the values of rainfall and rainfall estimated by satellite in some factors attributed to this difference to the fact that precipitation can occur in distinct natures , whether influenced by synoptic disturbances or even a simple rain with short duration in isolated areas.
