The work has as its object of study geostationary satellites TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) and CMORPH (Climate Prediction Center Morphing). To assess whether these satellites can play the rainfall through estimates for the city of Bethlehem, and see if they are consistent as the time period, this happens more frequently in the region of precipitation, according to scientific research. The analysis of the TRMM satellite estimates, included a series of data from the product 3B42_V6. The period for that study is comprised from 2007 to 2010. This work was selected the same spatial resolution of 0.25 ° x 0.25 ° (approximately 25 km) and temporal-three hours for the two estimates precipitation O main result of this study is the inefficiency of the estimator Cmorph, if the objective is to study data every three hours. |
