Starting from this, the study involving endemic diseases that need this microclimate for its development are of great importance to analyze the following illness-climate aspect. Were used for the present work, a series of data of 3 years (2004 - 2006) involving the affection and the malaria. The analyses results had shown that for some months of the year the Dengue’s behavior is different of Malaria’s incidence behavior, on aspects of precipitation, was evidenced as meteorological parameter that more influences the endemic diseases, since it’s need hidric collections for its development and proliferation. Were made calculations involving numbers of notified cases, total population esteem in the year for parcel of the population in such a way to evaluate the risk of the region for Dengue and Malaria. Through the results, was evidenced that the Belém’s area tends to develop with more easiness the Dengue’s vector, therefore its affects more urban areas mainly than the Malaria’s Vector. Also it must be considered the aspect of the eradication campaigns that for some studied months are able to minimize the incidence of the endemic diseases. O município de Belém está localizado na região norte do Brasil, em uma área conhecida como “Amazônia legal”, essa área é caracterizada por alta cota pluviométrica, elevada temperatura e umidade relativa do ar. A partir daí, o estudo envolvendo endemias que necessitam desse microclima para seu desenvolvimento é de suma importância para analisar o seguinte aspecto doença-clima. Foram utilizados para o presente trabalho, uma série de dados mensais durante 3 anos (2004 – 2006) envolvendo os casos notificados de dengue e a malária em Belém - PA. Os resultados das análises mostraram que para alguns meses do ano o comportamento da dengue é diferente do comportamento da incidência de malária, sob aspecto da precipitação, onde foi constatado o parâmetro meteorológico que mais influencia as endemias, já que elas precisam de coleções hídricas para seu desenvolvimento e proliferação. Foram efetuados cálculos envolvendo os números de casos notificados, população total estimada no ano por parcela da população para se avaliar o risco da região tanto para dengue como para malária. Após análises dos resultados, constatou-se que a área de Belém tende a desenvolver com mais facilidade o mosquito da dengue, pois esse afeta principalmente áreas mais urbanas que o mosquito da malária.
