Schedules data were obtained through the International Code METAR (Meteorological Aerodrome Report) of the meteorological network of airspace control Department (DECEA) Aviation command. The analysis was verified that the formation of Fog occurs more intensely during the rainy season and that mostly have a duration of an hour or two. It was observed that the start times of Fog with most frequently remained between 06:00 and 07:00 in the morning. In this work it was verified that there was a relationship between the variation of precipitation and the variation of the number of hours of Fog, it was verified that the formation also occurred in greater numbers with air temperature around 24°C and 23°C. There are several meteorological factors influencing on aviation, however, some factors such as Fog deserve special attention due to their greater involvement. This justifies the importance of the study of Fog, aiming at its occurrence and frequency analysis in order to identify its main features for flight planning or redirects. Este trabalho trata do estudo sobre a ocorrência de Nevoeiro no aeródromo Internacional Governador Jorge Teixeira de Oliveira, em Porto Velho - Rondônia, durante o período de 2008 a 2012 (5 anos). Os dados foram obtidos através do Código Internacional METAR (Informação Meteorológica de Aeródromo) da rede meteorológica do Departamento de Controle do Espaço Aéreo (DECEA) do Comando da Aeronáutica. Na análise foi verificado que a formação de Nevoeiro ocorre de forma mais intensa durante o Período chuvoso e que em sua maioria possui uma duração de uma ou duas horas. Observou-se ainda que os horários de início dos Nevoeiros mais significativos mantiveram-se entre 06:00 e 07:00 da manhã. Neste trabalho foi verificado que houve uma relação entre a variação da precipitação e a variação do número de horas de Nevoeiro. Foi verificado também que a formação ocorreu em maior número com temperatura do ar em torno de 24°C e 23°C. Existem diversos fatores meteorológicos que influenciam na aviação, no entanto, alguns fatores como o Nevoeiro merecem uma atenção especial em razão de sua maior implicação.
