This research to analyze the permanece of monuments in memory the inhabitants metropolitan área of Belém, considering the relationships established with these objects of daily life and also the questionof “belonging”. The monuments presente in this work are homenagem to Gama Malcher and Column of Infamy, chosen because the temporal distance between them and the difference in the representation of speech employed in them.
As methodology, we turn to the study of public and research in the documentary and bibliographic collection to build the analysis. This research showed results that made us consider factors that way contribute to a reappropriation of these monuments in order to be effective both in space where the monuments are, as well as other spaces for socialization the population of the metropolitan área of Belém. We consider also the contributions in this way to expand the visibility of these monuments within society. |
