This work had the theme "Literacy and Literacy of students with Down syndrome: a look from the parents of a public school in Santo Antônio do Tauá". For this, it was proposed as a general objective: To analyze, according to the discourse of the parents of students with Down Syndrome, if during the process of literacy and literacy these students have achieved social success and in school learning. As specific objectives: To evaluate, in the report of the subjects parents of our research, if the methodological procedures postulated by them are compatible to be developed with the students with Down Syndrome; To discuss the process of literacy and literacy of students with Down Syndrome, based on the work of authors in the area of inclusive education; Check if the parents of the students have any problems with any of the professionals working at the school? The research is characterized as bibliographical, field. As methodological procedures were given in a qualitative way, of the descriptive type, with the technique of data collection where questionnaires were used, applied to 03 (three) parents of Down students, in a semi-structured interview. The authors were: Goulart (2005/2006), Kleiman (2008), Machado (2011), Mantoan (2003/20052006), Rodrigues (2006), Mazzotta (2011), Motta (2009), Sassaki 2004/2008/2009/2010), among others, were essential to know the theme. It concludes with the research that subjects who affirm that with the use of practical activities of a playful character, stimulate the students' taste for learning and automatically for their literacy, which can be explored by most sensory senses, and at the same time, to make greater the entrance door of the outside world, facilitating the interpretation of the brain in the cognitive process of the Down. |
