For this, it was proposed as a general objective: To analyze, according to the discourse of the parents of students with Down Syndrome, if during the process of literacy and literacy these students have achieved social success and in school learning. As specific objectives: To evaluate, in the report of the subjects parents of our research, if the methodological procedures postulated by them are compatible to be developed with the students with Down Syndrome; To discuss the process of literacy and literacy of students with Down Syndrome, based on the work of authors in the area of inclusive education; Check if the parents of the students have any problems with any of the professionals working at the school? The research is characterized as bibliographical, field. As methodological procedures were given in a qualitative way, of the descriptive type, with the technique of data collection where questionnaires were used, applied to 03 (three) parents of Down students, in a semi-structured interview. The authors were: Goulart (2005/2006), Kleiman (2008), Machado (2011), Mantoan (2003/20052006), Rodrigues (2006), Mazzotta (2011), Motta (2009), Sassaki 2004/2008/2009/2010), among others, were essential to know the theme. It concludes with the research that subjects who affirm that with the use of practical activities of a playful character, stimulate the students' taste for learning and automatically for their literacy, which can be explored by most sensory senses, and at the same time, to make greater the entrance door of the outside world, facilitating the interpretation of the brain in the cognitive process of the Down. Este trabalho teve como tema “Alfabetização e Letramento de alunos com síndrome de Down: um olhar a partir dos pais de uma escola pública de Santo Antônio do Tauá”. Para isso, se propôs como objetivo geral: Analisar, segundo o discurso dos pais de alunos portadores da Síndrome de Down, se durante o processo de alfabetização e letramento esses estudantes tem obtido êxito social e na aprendizagem na escola. Como objetivos específicos: Avaliar, no relato dos pais sujeitos de nossa pesquisa, se os procedimentos metodológicos postulados por eles são compatíveis para serem desenvolvidos com os alunos portadores da Síndrome de Down; Discutir o processo de alfabetização e letramento de alunos com Síndrome de Down, com base no trabalho de autores da área da educação inclusiva; Verificar se os pais dos alunos enfrentam algum problema com algum dos profissional que trabalham na escola? A pesquisa é caracterizada como bibliográfica, de campo. Como procedimentos metodológicos se deram de forma qualitativa, do tipo descritivo, com a técnica de coleta de dados onde se utilizou questionários, aplicado a 03 (três) pais de alunos Down, em uma entrevista semiestruturada. Os autores foram: Goulart (2005/2006), Kleiman (2008), Machado (2011), Mantoan (2003/20052006), Rodrigues (2006), Mazzotta (2011), Motta (2009), Sassaki (2010), Soares (2004/2008/2009/2010), dentre outros, foram imprescindíveis para conhecer a temática. Conclui-se com a pesquisa que sujeitos que afirmam que com o uso de atividades práticas de caráter lúdico, estimulam o gosto do aluno pela aprendizagem e automaticamente para a sua alfabetização, que pode ser explorada por maior parte dos sentidos sensoriais, e ao mesmo tempo, tornar maior a porta de entrada do mundo exterior, facilitando a interpretação do cérebro no processo cognitivo do Down. 2019-11-01T18:35:16Z 2019-11-01T18:35:16Z 2018-11-30 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação SOUSA, Genygleice Santos de.
