The influence of the moon is still present to organize the activities of some farmers in the Murutinga community, municipality of Abaetetuba / Pa, it is still possible to verify the existence of these processes. To develop this theme we aim to verify the empirical knowledge in the community farmers' conceptions about the influence of the moon on the plantations. To consider the importance of the study, a field research is carried out in the community with 6 (six) farmers, seeking answers from their empirical knowledge about nature, that is, about the influence of the moon and the sap. best calendar used for planting according to the common sense of the interviewees. The research concludes that the common sense of farmers has a certain reationship with scientific knowledge, which holds that the traditional knowledge of farmers can never be ignored, on the contrary, should be taken as an object of study and dialogue, to to bring them closer to the academic world, always rescuing the appreciation and preservation of these important local knowledge with nature.
