This work aims to bring the experimental lesson proposal, so that the teacher works the theme: acid-base indicators, using the natural resources existing in the community itself, without the need to use the resources of the multidisciplinary laboratory. The work was divided into stages, the first of which consisted in researching the subject and selecting the vegetables, from which the anthocyanin-rich extract was removed and tested several times to analyze the colors presented according to each species Euterpe oleracea Mart. , Eleutherine bulbosa (Mill) and Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L .. The second step was to present natural indicators and their functionalities to students of different age, series and gender. A workshop was held during the science fair "Nina Abreu Scientific and Cultural Show" at the Bernardino Pereira de Barros School. Fifty-eight students participated in the experiment, of which 30 were female and 28 were male, with a different age range, ranging from 9 to 21 years old, ranging from the 4th year of elementary school to the 3rd grade. Where students who studied or not studied the subject had a prior explanation of the concept according to the Arrenhius theory, of the importance of using the natural indicator, then they could participate in the experiments and in the end they answered a small questionnaire that 95 % of the students were able to understand the subject. With this we conclude that a better understanding is visible from the experiments. |
